Trade Shows

Trade shows require a significant commitment of time and resources. In order to maximize the value of trade show investments, Colligan Communications has developed a three-step approach to our trade show support.

Pre-show

  • Assist with the (re)design and creation of trade show booths and marketing collateral materials to ensure they support strategic company and product messaging.
  • Write and distribute pre-show press releases to publications preparing show previews in order to drive attendees to the company booth.
  • Provide media training to executives who will be participating in media interviews.

At-show

  • At-show press releases/kits are created and distributed to encourage coverage in highly-read post-show roundups.
  • Simultaneously a larger electronic press release distribution is done to include relevant journalists unable to attend the event.
  • We make every effort to obtain coverage in Show Daily publications to drive traffic to the booth.
  • Where possible, at-show interviews are pitched, coordinated and conducted with journalists in attendance. This can lead to inclusion in post-show round up articles as well as to future editorial opportunities.

Post-show

  • Colligan Communications follows up with key editors to ensure they have all the product information, photography and captions they need as they begin to prepare their show summary articles.
